We recently worked with SaveYourInk on a custom mini bucket production order for our collectible product line.
Unfortunately, the initial production run arrived with a major issue:
The imprint color did not match the approved proof. Our approved proof and submitted order specified a white imprint on a blue bucket, but the completed 500-unit production run arrived with a black imprint on blue buckets instead.
As a small business preparing for a customer fulfillment launch, this created a significant operational and scheduling setback for us and forced us to delay fulfillment while arranging a corrected production run through another manufacturer.
To SaveYourInk’s credit, once the issue was escalated, they worked with us toward an appropriate resolution and handled the situation professionally. We appreciate that they ultimately stood behind the order.
That said, for businesses producing detail-sensitive collectible or branded products, I would strongly encourage clear communication regarding quality control procedures at the production facility in order to prevent major printing errors like this from occurring.
Overall, I appreciate their willingness to resolve the issue, but the production error itself had a substantial impact on our launch timeline and customer fulfillment process.
